A Summer's Breeze...

Hello loves! How is your summer going so far? Well we hope! Enjoying the sun, maybe working on that tan? Bring a cool margarita with you for us! Oh, and HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!

Now... it's not a large update, as both of us have been extremely busy, but it's something! In other news, the British Bitch will be getting on a plane next week and flying her ass out of Europe and over to the United States. That's right, the British Bitch and the American Whore will be together, causing mayhem where ever they go, for 8 days! Be on the look out! HA.

Raising Money One Leg Hitch At A Time.

Good Morning Ladies and Gents!

I come to you with a little update from The Fandom Gives Back.

As of 8:00am on Wednesday June 30th the total amount raised by the fandom is $17,463! WOW! That is truly amazing. You are all being so supportive, whether it’s donating your time, crafts, or writing. Tweeting and RTing your hearts out and posting information where ever you can. ALL of this helps, every mention gets the word out just a little further and every dollar makes a difference.

We want to send you all hugs and chocolate for being so fabulous. Here at FanFicers, we couldn’t be more proud to call ourselves members of this fandom!

Keep up all the hard work. Check out the authors who have offered up a story or one-shot, maybe give a author you don’t know a go… try something new. The virtual gifts, like blog features and banner making are up for grabs too. Autographed merchandise and hand crafted items are open to be yours.

Thank you fandom, your generosity warms our hearts!

On another note… I think there was a midnight release of a movie last night? What was it…? OH RIGHT! That would be ECLIPSE! Did you go see it, and are you getting up for work this morning? Well grab that fresh cup of coffee and tell us what you thought. Please, for now, try to avoid the spoilers. We understand that some people haven’t had a chance to see it yet and we wouldn’t want to ruin it for them. So let’s get a general consensus on the movie, TWO THUMBS UP or MEH. IT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER?

~ With The Fandom Gives Back auctions going live this weekend, and the hype of such a great cause, the hosts of the contest thought that extending the deadline would be more helpful to those who wished to enter. The deadline for submissions has been extended until THURSDAY JULY 1ST, 12PM EST.

Not too much chit chat from us today, just wanted to let you know that BBSapphire24 wrote a review for Southern Fanfiction Review about ElleCC's Murmur of Fire in the Vain.

The Long Way Home by TheHeartOfLife - EmxR - Summary: There was a girl. She loved a boy. And then she lost it all. Will her journey back to the place where it all began and ended light the path for forgiveness, or will it swallow her whole? A story about friendship, love and the true meaning of coming home. ~ This is Rosalie's story and it's a heartbreaking one. TheHeartOfLife has done an amazing job of capturing emotions and weaving them into her story. Rosalie's pain had me in tears. One of the things I really liked is how realistic TheHeartOfLife made this story, it's not perfect and there's not a single person to blame for anything. There's growth and steps forward, there are smiles with some tears mixed in there. Sometimes people are oblivious and that can be more hurtful then you think. TheHeartOfLife has written this beautifully.  I've never wanted more for Rosalie in a story. She's strong on the outside while she tries to hide the shattered heart on the inside. So far this story has been great, I love it. It's given me the angst I love so much and also some brilliant moments. The last update... I was swooning hard. Go read and find out why!
