~ The first place winner in the Alternate Shippers Challenge is einfach_mich with her story, Two Lonely Hearts, and what a story it was. This was written beautifully and such a different story it was bound to catch the attention of everyone.

einfach_mich started with Leah, a character who is so strong and self-sufficent yet broken on the inside. Leah was written fantastically. The canon side of her character was captured well with a little twist of the author in there. Leah knows what she wants and goes after it, whether she's nervous on the inside or not. She's brave and honest.

Then we get to Charlie. I think this is fabulous portrayal of him. It shows his past with Renee and raising Bella, and how that shaped him as a man. His undying love and dedication are focused on and appreciated it. It's sad how he has held himself back for so long and done the right thing only to hurt himself.

It seems Charlie has met the one person who can force him to admit what he wants and take it. This story is about suffering, comfort and struggle. What choices are the "right" ones and what makes them right? In one night two people who have been hurt so badly form a bond that will only grow stronger and eventually transform.

einfach_mich has done a brillant job of building this bond between the two characters and making it "natural" with a great flow in the story. You think you know what's coming, and then she surprises you. She makes you hope for Leah and hope for Charlie.

If that's not enough we can talk about the oh-so-hot scenes she's written. You will be squirming in your seat, this I promise. There are moments between Charlie and Leah that are so sexual and hot but then einfach_mich throws in the sensual, caring bits that make you love it even more.

This was an amazing story and so wonderfully written. You should definitely take some time and read it, and make sure to let einfach_mich know what you think!

Good Morning Ladies and Gents!

I come to you with a little update from The Fandom Gives Back.

As of 8:00am on Wednesday June 30th the total amount raised by the fandom is $17,463! WOW! That is truly amazing. You are all being so supportive, whether it’s donating your time, crafts, or writing. Tweeting and RTing your hearts out and posting information where ever you can. ALL of this helps, every mention gets the word out just a little further and every dollar makes a difference.

We want to send you all hugs and chocolate for being so fabulous. Here at FanFicers, we couldn’t be more proud to call ourselves members of this fandom!
